gamevender
The first is the old Airfix kit, a real favorite of mine from way long ago. I combined it with some parts from the Frog kit, some scratch building and some PE parts. The second is the new Airfix kit OOTB. It looks "beefier" that the old one if nothing else. 45

Mark4700
Both very nice and lovely builds. I like the newer version, it just looks better proportioned.
invidia
Great looking builds. The old one looks great. Love the pre war colours on the new one.
Eric Mc
Both very nice - but you can see how the modern kit is superior to the original.
woody37
Both lovely builds, but you can see the benefit of the new kit under that lovely paint job
Vinnie
Very nice pair of Swordfish. I have the new Airfix one under the bench, but I go into a cold sweat when I look at it.
pheonix
Lovely pair of Swordfish. I well remember the old tool as I tried to build it as a young teenager: it looked nothing like yours! P

Gerrardandrews
Both superbly made models, hard to pick a favourite, old one looking very fragile, as a swordfish looks, new one, very solid and more details 😊
Ex-FAAWAFU
Both beautifully built. The differences between kits are quite striking; the longer I looked, the more I noticed - especially the undercarriage, where the new mould has the right impression of weight, whereas the old one looks as though it’s about to levitate in comparison!
