ProfSparks
Hi All Here's the second kit from the Airfix 1/72 "100 Years Of Naval Aviation Collection" A50105. It's a probable guess at Lieutenant Commander Eugene Esmonde aircraft as he led a detachment of six Fairey Swordfish in an attack on the German battlecruisers Scharnhorst and Gneisenau and the heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen On 12 February 1942 off the South coast of England. Built mostly (unfortunately..!) out of the box, with interior and some exterior detailing from various bits of wire, rigged with fishing line, sprayed again with the included Humbrol paint pots. Thanks to all who advised, guided, and generally lifted my mood WIP here http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235026285-100-years-2-fairey-swordfish/& Comments and suggestions welcome Cheers Steve Edited April 16, 2018 by ProfSparks
AdrianMF
Nice work! The old Fairey Swordfish kit has been completely eclipsed for detail and accuracy by the new Airfix one, but it's a nice kit to build and you have done it proud! Regards, Adrian

CedB
Another great result from an old kit Steve and the detail at this scale is admirable. Good job Sir (especially with the pot paints!)
