nimrod54
This is my latest completion, built for the Radial Engines Rock GB using the Airfix A-1J kit and removing all of the raised detail and then re-scribing. I had intended replacing the interior detail with some Aires resin made for the Hasegawa kit, in the end I decided that I would need to remove too much material to warrant its use on this build and not a lot would be seen through the canopy anyway - so better to keep this for a future build of the intended kit and scratch some basic interior detail with tape belts on the seat. I did replace the pylons with a Quickboost set and will consider the addition of suitable weapons at some point, I also added to/replaced the kit parts with a Master pitot and gun set, and the decals came from Print Scale.

Booty003
That is a great result from this kit, I would never of thought that it was the old Airfix kit. Very nicely done and fantastic scribe work.
nimrod54
Thanks for the kind comments gents they are all appreciated. Just to confirm that this is the Airfix kit, here are a couple of photos from the build. First the box and contents by John L, on Flickr and a before and after shot of some of the re-scribing work, this is only the third time that I have attempted to do a full scribe of panel lines and I think that there is still some room for improvement.
