Tha is a very nice build Johnny it must have taken tons of wine when i look at that rigging job.

You are a hero to me because i never will try that much of rigging.

It is wonderfull to see this with such a nice finish

Cheers, Jan

I think I'd be ready to be one of Mr Romero's extras after that effort... but you'll wait a long time to find anyone with an 0/400 in their collection, and forever to find a better one.

Great background info on the great Keith Park, too, later, of course, hero of the Battle of Britain and Malta.  What a life!

-Peter (whose eight Isa Browns are doing okay).

Wonderful build Johnny.

I followed this build from the start and it is so great to see her in RFI.

That kit gave me the "I am not touching that with a barge pole" when I first saw in the Airfix catalogue many years ago.

And it still does, but I doff my cap to you , for such a fine build.

Love the story behind it to sir.

Nice base too I must add.

Looking forward to the next build.

Simon.

PS, Who`s round is it next?

About time, Johnny Late! :D:thumbsup:

Just kidding, it's great to see RFI pics of this epic build, so I'm glad you managed it, eventually :clap:

The base is to be commended too, great job!

Ciao

That looks great, love the setting.

Recently made this kit myself with varying degrees of success. My first attempt at rigging and it went ok though didn't attempt any on the tail.

I had more trouble with the wheels/undercarriage - took forever to get them straight. Had to go and have a lie down after. Yours are a work of art.

All the best, Martin

Superb workmanship! I have this kit in my stash, and if I am able to achieve a result half as good as this I'd be a happy man. I loved following your WIP, which I've duly bookmarked for the inevitable moment when I begin working on mine. Bravo!   :)

Cheers,

Bill

Nice model...well painted...looks the part for sure.  This is what modeling is all about.  Built this kit (and rigged it) some15 years ago...I feel your pain.
