Lee Chambers
Hi everyone, I've had this kit in my stash for a few years and my nephew wanted me to build it for a Christmas present for him, so finally I thought I should get started on it. It will include the driver with the Niki Lauda decals on the car and driver helmet. It should be a fun build.
Lee Chambers
Hi all, just a quick update on the Brabham Alfa Romeo. I have put a base colour red on the bodywork, the plan is to build the chassis then lacquer the red areas. I have started to add the decals to the upper body and rear fin, as usual Tamiya decals are very thick but with a few coats of X20A thinner they are slowly bedding down, but considering the kit was made in 1979, they have not deteriorated. Once they are all on I can seal them with a 2K clear coat, I have modified the drivers right arm so that he grips the steering wheel better, as before the right arm was too long. I hope to have this build finished by next week.
