BIG X
OK - it's all over now... ...the masking tape is off and it's out with the Tamiya liquid poly - I love the smell of peardrops - it does smell of peardrops doesn't it or is it just me... Anyway the wheels are on... ...oops - nearly forgot the 'cats whiskers'... So there we have it and for those that helped - THANKS GUYS All the best - Steve
badger
Top job Steve!!! Looks really good - weatherings spot on for me. That's 2 down - what's next? All the best Ben
BlackMax12
Sure looks like a Sherman, but I have to have my Optivisor on to see anything in 1/72. Betcha I can run over it with my 1/16 King Tiger and not even notice. Seriously, it looks great, the weathering is superb and how can you ever install those decals and blend them in like that when I can barely see them, never mind trying to handle them with my four thumbs. Take care, Lloyd

All the best Ben Thanks Ben - you have been a BIG HELP & it's really appreciated. Next in the pipeline could be 3 x Cromwell's - 'Damn you ALDI' - @Lawzer egged me on with a few shots he had taken of his ALDI bargain and I fell for it - but I can't seem to buy one of anything 10 hours ago, BlackMax12 said: Sure looks like a Sherman, but I have to have my Optivisor on to see anything in 1/72. Take care, Lloyd Hi Lloyd - The decals were "fun" and I will certainly spend more time trimming the excess carrier film on these next time. 9 hours ago, Bangor Lad said: Great job, Steve. AgentG
Now that's nice! I too feel you should take on a 1/35th scale build. G
Kev The Modeller
Most certainly go for a 1/35, I built one as my return to modelling after 30 odd years earlier this year. Its a Tamiya kit and went together very well.
