More dirt today and I think I'm there now - well I hope so - as I just coated everything in matt varnish :D

Anyway the wheels are on...

  • BIG X changed the title to Help me build a Sherman +++COMPLETED+++

Sure looks like a Sherman, but I have to have my Optivisor on to see anything in 1/72.  Betcha I can run over it with my 1/16 King Tiger and not even notice.

Seriously, it looks great, the weathering is superb and how can you ever install those decals and blend them in like that when I can barely see them, never mind trying to handle them with my

four thumbs.

Take care,

Lloyd

Top job Steve!!!

Looks really good - weatherings spot on for me.

That's 2 down - what's next?

All the best

Ben

Thanks Ben - you have been a BIG HELP & it's really appreciated.  Next in the pipeline could be 3 x Cromwell's - 'Damn you ALDI' - @Lawzer egged me on with a few shots he had taken of his ALDI bargain and I fell for it - but I can't seem to buy one of anything :mental:

Hi Lloyd - The decals were "fun" and I will certainly spend more time trimming the excess carrier film on these next time.

Cheers mate and again - thanks for your help too - as an AFV newbie I have lots of 'silly questions' so any help is most welcome.

Well done mate 😁

Thank you my spidery friend - I need all the encouragement I can get - though some would argue otherwise.  :newb:

Thanks lads - onwards and upwards as they say - Steve :hobbyhorse:

Thats turned out rather spiffing. Great weathering. Now... lets see what you can do in 35th scale! 😉

Regards

Steve

Hey Steve - no chance of 1/35 for me - now 1/16 - well that's another story...

Joking aside - thanks for all the help on this - you are a :star:star :star:
