ArtickWarspite
Sifting through some older photographs, I thought this kit is worth sharing. This was an awesome kit. Absolutely enjoyed every second of it. The kit itself was beautifully engineered, fitted like a glove with a different colour scheme. If you haven't built a Tamiya P-47 then you are missing out. It was fantastic! I know the colours are not quite accurate, and that the M versions were almost exclusively high altitude interceptors, so wouldn't carry bombs etc. The 1/32 Hasegawa version I've done of this plane is far more accurate in that respect. (That article is in the forums here somewhere..)

redcap
That's a really good P47 and in a scheme not often seen; nice one! Gary

Gorby
Excellent model, I love the scheme. The pilot looks like he is about to be throw up, does he get air-sick? 1

Crimea River
I agree the Tamiya Jug is a pleasure to build. I built this kit a couple of years ago with a very similar scheme and i think your colours actually came out pretty good. Well done. Bob Henry
Nice build of a truly great warbird. The "M" version was ridiculously fast for a prop plane and considering how big and heavy it was that makes it even more remarkable. There were not very many of them because they came along late in the war and the jet aircraft were arriving. Well done. Bob H.
