david sMiGielski
My first vacuform kit. Definitely not perfect--the camera sure brings out the flaws--but so much fun to build. This is the old Falcon kit. Scratchbuilt flaps, gear, wheel wells, and cockpit. Ejection seat came with the kit and, surprisingly, the kit decals worked (although I had to make the arrows on the fuselage out of red decal sheet. Finished with Tamiya acrylics. Not a contest winner by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm happy to have finished it and have even more respect for those who can really make limited run vac kits shine.
Silver Fox
Lovely work, I built this as my first full vac-form more years ago than I care to remember and it is still in my cabinet. Yours is so much better and the flaps really add to the overall effect.
CJP
Hi David - not often we see these old Falcon Vac-forms built up - nice work on the scratch building - you've done a great job CJP
Corsairfoxfouruncle
Great looking Swift ... The mere fact that you admit this is Vacuform. That fact tells me you are a model-builder and not just an assembler. You are a braver man than me.

Andrew Jones
Nice model , you got to love a Swift , now if only Airfix would give us one in 1/48.

Now that I've finished this, they almost have to. I think that's how the modeling fates work. What I really want is a 1/48 Scimitar. The Dynavector kit is impossible to find. Mike
Very nice - I made a start on this once, but got a bit bogged down with the details of the nose gear well, which isn't boxed in as the kit would have you believe. Then I got distracted by the next shiny thing, and the kit is still there in pieces
Head in the clouds.
Oh the humble vac-form, you have achieved a good model there and I did not see any flaws and a brand I have not heard of.
