06/24
I'm great at starting build threads, less good at finishing them. @Procopiusand @CedB have been muttering (politely) about my being seduced by larger scale modelling and even earth bound stuff. Sadly this thread is not going to make them much happier! Up even further in scale, to 1/35, this is the tiny Academy RQ-7B drone, or UAV. 1/35 RQ-7B UAV by jongwinnett, on Flickr

06/24
Just a couple of evening's work gets us to this point. All that's still to add are the various engine pipes, prop and I'll need to scratchbuild the arrester hook, the only significant omission from the kit and understandable since it's so fine I have no idea how to replicate it.
AdrianMF
Well that's a bit different! I'm guessing from comparison with the figure that the real thing has about a 10 foot wingspan? Multicoloured sprues too, just like Matchbox from days of yore. Regards, Adrian
Procopius
1/35! God's Bodkin, Jonners, this is hardly 1/72...or cricket!
06/24
It's smaller than anything I've made in 1/72, if that helps! @AdrianMF, wingspan in this configuration is 14ft. There's an extended endurance/payload version with 20ft wingspan and underwing hardpoints.
Corsairfoxfouruncle
Interesting and sad all at the same time. Interesting build and looking aircraft. Sad that it represents the changing of aerial combat.
