Hi Lads, this is my VK 3001 (H) from Trumpeter. It is a nice (and cheap) model, so the perfect kit to fill the sad times between two bigger projects.

As there were only two prototypes built, of course in boring Grey, I followed the paper panzer way and changed mine into a real battle horse with "Turmschürzen" and Camo. Historical incorrect, but hey, it's just modelling, so it's fun that matters...

(I'm not so familiar with this instagram, I'm a modeller, not a Computer nerd! Trying hard to get better bigger Pictures online...)

Interesting vehicle and well done :clap2:

Thanks, Soeren. Yes, it is a real cool tank, somewhere between Panzer IV Ausf. D and the Tiger. Big fun...

Hi Badder, thank you.

I work hard on the pics, but computers are so stupid...

Or is it me?

Cheers

Tobby

That looks great, weathering is excellent. Is that a picnic hamper stowed on the rear decking?

Hi Pete. Thank you...

And yes, it is a picnic hamper. My German tankers are always friendly lads, only marching to the East for nice picnics in the green gras...:P

All the best

T.
