kpnuts
Hi all well we were at our friends caravan and birthday money was burning a hole in my pocket, as always I nipped into their lms and got this Now I realise I could put it with the Bismark and the George V my son and daughter got me for my birthday but, me being me, I seldom stick to the rules I'm thinking a space battle ship (obviously a name change would be required suggestions welcome) I'm thinking shiney chrome, lots of nice curves maybe some lasers, what do you think.
Rob G
The anime industry did Space Battleship Yamato, why not Space Battleship Admiral Graf Spee? No need for a name change, and you may be able to keep the essential 'German-ness' of the design intact.

Procopius
Make it the ROU (República Oriental del Uruguay, the "Oriental Republic of Uruguay", Uruguay's naval prefix) Uruguay, raised from the floor of the River Plate and salvaged by that country?
Bugle07
Shame you didn't find the Hipper, the you could have had the Admiral Space Hopper (Sorry Hipper) in a lovely 70's orange paint job! How about Montevideo, Langsdorff or Harwood for the name? All important to the origional battle. I like the idea of a ROU ship, maybe Pedro Campbell or Peter Campell? Nominal founder of their Navy? Will be watching with interest. Geoff
