fjaweijfopi4j48
Scratch-built, with decals from Arctic Decals of Finland. There were several models and modifications. I scratched this model a few months ago, posting some images of it still without decals here in Britmodeller in the "British Heinkel" post: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235025835-the-british-heinkel/ Edited October 31, 2018 by Moa

Pete in Lincs
Fabulous looking little thing. I've only ever seen them in B & W photographs. I have to wonder how much fuel one of them could carry. There must be an engine in there too? Presumably it burned aviation fuel, or you'd need another fuel tank too.
Darby
What a bonkers looking thing but very well done. Reminds me of something from Wacky Races. 1
fjaweijfopi4j48
Thanks, Frankie and Replicant. The original was a not uncommon sight at flying fields, ad its peculiar shape and color makes it a good photo companion. Surely it is a somewhat odd piece of equipment, and that's why I liked the original.

Graham Boak
Nicely done. Oxford recently offered a die-cast 1/72 miniature of this, possibly not the same variant. I expect it will reappear in RAF markings before too long.
fjaweijfopi4j48
Thanks Graham. I think the Oxford Miniatures release is in 1/76th scale, and it is indeed one of the other models of the TB tanker.

Do you have anything in mind?
en-avant
Having seen your diminutive DH53 and Parnall Pixie how about the Miles Satyr, I can supply a 1/72 plan. George

George Hi en-avant: there is plenty of info online, including 3-views, no need to post or send anything. It looks fun, if a bit too airplany for my sometimes odd taste. Will have a look and see what's there in terms of more vivid decorations. I already found a checkered one that looks tempting (although surely not easy to paint). May be we should open a new thread under "Miles Satyr". Cheers
