1/72 Kugisho R2Y1 "Keiun" , Fine Molds

Good day, gentlemen. It's my next model from "What if?" series. Noteworthy is the fact that the basis for this aircraft was a promising plane Heinkel He-119 - my previous model. The Japanese bought three samples of this aircraft, they were able to collect only one. And then, by the same scheme, they developed their own aircraft, in which the motor shaft also passed through the cockpit of the pilots.
The coloring scheme offered by Fine Molds I did not like. I developed my own version - based "on the motives". All designations, except for the digital code on the keel, are made using stencils.

Outstanding!!  Very well done.  I've never seen this kit before, but I may have to go hunting one down.  Thanks for posting.  Again...excellent work.

Fer cryin' out loud, Fuad- here's another one that was on my to-do list that is now back on the shelf! Yer killing me, my man! Seriously, I love what you did with this Fine Molds kit- the 'what-if' colors and markings look very believeable. Another outstanding model...you need to be locked up, for your own good- ha! You are a very accomplished model-maker, and I really do enjoy seeing your finished efforts- can't wait to see what's next!

Incredible work

I really like that one Fuad.

I reckon it would have been hard to get her off the ground with the long fuselage and tricycle undercarriage.

Hence the handy little "jockey" wheel right at the back for when the pilot got the lift off angle more than about 10 degrees and she banged her butt on the tarmac!!

Great job....beautiful "what if" finish

Cheers

Hi, great job. I have a question : from where are you buy kits in Baku?

I will be there in December.

Hi! Welcome to Baku! We have some market with models, but its very expensive and poor choice. I buy all of things regarding to models online. My favorite shops - Hannants, Hobby_Link_Japan and just eBay.
