Alpha Delta 210
Hi I was exploring my mine of digital images looking for a picture of a specific aeroplane for a friend when I realised that since I took up digital photography in 2002, some significant types and airframes are no longer flying (temporarily or otherwise in the UK at least). I decided to trawl through the images and share some of my favourites. I apologise in advance for the quality of some of the oldest images as my equipment and skills are not what they are now... I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I have! Latinbear
You have some wonderful shots there! Difficult to pick a favourite as they are all special in their own way. Number three really could have been taken during the war. If I had to make choices then it would be the Harriers. Looking forward to the next batch!

Latinbear
More excellent shots! Also a bit depressing as the realisation of what is now long gone hits home too. Thanks for posting these. 1
Alpha Delta 210
Thanks for the kind words, Latinbear. I know what you mean (and I suddenly felt old after looking at the older images!) Alpha Delta 210
Thanks for the extra "likes". I'm pleased that you enjoyed looking at the pictures. How I wish that the retired types were still in service and I wouldn't take them for granted now like I did then....

CurrantBunbury
A beautiful collection. Thanks for sharing these. Some real stunners and memories in there. The head-on photo of the blue Sea Harrier FA2 in the first collection is particularly atmospheric, and I've had two glasses of wine so I'd better stop before I get to the Tornados.
