I managed to lose one of the indicator lenses :-(

Built straight out of the box, apart from the hub caps , door mirror glass and radiator surround, which are Bare Metal Foil; airbrushed, paints mostly Revell AquaColour, a couple of Tamiya acrylics where I didn’t have the Revell equivalent

Kit went together ok, no flash but plenty of ejector pin marks, some in places where I couldn’t do anything about them without losing the detail around them e.g the door mirrors

the ‘lid’ is just placed loosely so I could get inside for a couple of photos

Nice build, just a thought, something I've done on those wing mirrors was to use Tamiya liquid glue, put a dollop on and using an old very stiff brush you can re-stypil the effect as the glue slightly melts the plastic.

Cheers Dave.

Well done John it looks great. I have a couple, one Revell, one Hasegawa to build of the older rounder shape and two more vans as well.

Nice build John. Like the finish. I also have a selection of camper vans in my stash to build. Looking at your build making me think that maybe I should get started on one of mine.

Glad to be of help :-) thanks for the feedback

it took a lot of preparation but the assembly once everything was painted was very straightforward.

the ‘lid’ and tailgate can be modelled either closed or open, I opted for open. In fact I still haven’t cemented the lid in place
