A First from Me (I know, late to the party, as ever)

Not sure what I've been doing with my life up to now, but I think I can say with some confidence that this is my first camouflage scheme... 

 

Turned out quite well, I think? (Tamiya 1/48 Meteor F3 - been sitting unpainted in the box for years)

Which do you prefer for ease of use, Tamiya or Mr Color?

Thanks Gav. I think probably Tamiya, but perhaps only because that's what I started with, and I also tend to build a lot of Tamiya kits. I haven't really used Mr Colour all that much, I bought a few colours for specific projects, but they seem to spray well enough and I would happily get more if I needed to.

Thanks Richard. I recommend adding a little extra nose weight (in addition to the lump Tamiya supply). It will sit on its nose, but only just.

Very neat job. I look forward to seeing the finished article. Be careful with the weathering if you do it, don't spoil a lovely paint job.

Cheers! Will publish in RFI soon, probably tomorrow. Just finishing off the nose gear door. Weathering is (hopefully) quite restrained.
