Greetings from a newbie

Hi Guys,

 

Thought I'd better drop in and introduce myself. I actually appear to have signed up last December, but for some reason I've not been back since??

 

I've only been modeling since the very end of last year (other than a few Airfix kits I hammered together as a kid in the '70s). I kinda fell into the hobby during the lull between Christmas and New Year. The missus had gone back to work, and I was at home with the kids, bored. I decided to load them up in the car and headed off in the fog to my local Hobbycraft looking for something to do. I eventually found myself in the model kit section, and shortly after left with a Tamiya Challenger and some paints and glue. I was hooked right away, and in the intervening months have built a few kits (mostly armour) and started to develop my skills and techniques.

 

Anyway, enough waffle, I look forward to getting to know you guys better, and hopefully learn some new techniques.
