Coffee lid series: 1 - Watching the ducks

A while ago, I was looking at a takeaway coffee lid, and realised the indentation could be a pond.... this is the first one.

 

Some modelling clay in the base to give it some strength:

Tree installed and Revell "Plasto" putty to rough up the base and remove the rim:

Tamiya Dark Earth texture paint, couple of N-gauge bulrushes, and Jarvis desert sand and stone scatter in the base of the pond:
