Rabbit Leader Posted October 27, 2017 Share Posted October 27, 2017 Richard, In Chris Thomas’ latest Osprey publication ‘“Tempest Squadrons of the RAF” these objects are referred to as Water Cylinders and appear to be only fitted to aircraft based outside Europe. The profiles drawn by Chris himself show these to be painted red with perhaps a small grey band / strap around the centre. HTH.. Cheers..
