Scale75 have some really useful colors in their Alchemy paint range Clive. They offer some pretty good paint sets as well.

I tend to get mine from Historex Agents.

Thanks Cadman,it was the first time i have used these paints,i found them really nice for brush painting they go on very similar to oils.

Metallics can be a bit of a bear, but there's newer products that can make life easier.

For different types of aluminium and related alloys I simply can't see past Vallejo's Metal Color range at the moment. Primarily developed for airbrushing, they actually look great laid on with a paintbrush too.

And I can see from the photos you posted you're aware that Scale75 do several extremely effective shades of steel, iron, gold, silver, copper and brass as well.

Well, it's not as if I work for them of course, but I've never had anything but excellent service from Historex. Reckon you'll enjoy the new paint set....:thumbsup:
