1/72 Airfix Me-262 A1a

Dear fellow Britmodellers,

this is Airfix new 1/72 Messerschmitt Me-262 A1a built with the addition of Eduard photo etch & Master pitot tube.

Painted with Gunze/Mr.Hobby acrylics.

Photographs by Wolfgang Rabel.

 

A detailled build review will be featured in an upcoming edition of Scale Aviation Modeller International.

Is the pitot specially for this kit with its part of the wingtip or just a generic 1/72 262 one?

Glad mine came out almost as good as yours .... !

The pitot tube was found in the depths of my spares box, and I believe it was designed for a Bf-109.

However it looks much better than Airfix' original kit part.

Congratulations for this wonderful build, just seem we have another winner here!!!

While, this bird looks more wonderful ended as the others, seem you were very inspired with this nice kit, and the joy and work you have added to the already masterpiece. makes this wonderful bird a true winner with very best results as the whole end product.
