Airfix Vulcan

Recommended Posts

Beautiful ship ! I see you've even put the small gap between the bottom of the windshield and the fuselage, very impressive.

You think a gap like that would interfere with the airflow, but I imagine the nose airlfow blanks the gap.

Great attention to detail !

There have been some excellent Vulcans on here of late. I'm almost tempted to bite the bullet, get the scriber out & buy one.

Yield! You won't regret it. Well, you will for a bit, but it passes. :P Mine's a dog's breakfast compared to this, but I still love it.

Lovely job, mate. Are those the kit intakes?

Thanks very much. Yes they are the kit intakes, after a lot of filling, sanding and swearing... the jet pipes were added to the kit.

That sounds about right! I'm not much for aftermarket add-ons (don't have the budget, in all honesty) but I think some less murder-inducing intakes would be a good investment for the next one.
