Arniec
I have made some progress today. I have cleaned up all the seams on the fuselage and scribed some panel lines. They are not totally correct as I don't have a good drawing. I also made up the wings, so I can clean these up tomorrow. And this is the last foto of how far I am now. Cheers Jaime I have used a thin saw and just did it free handed. After that I used a Tamiya scriber to deepen the lines. jrlx
Thanks, I'm always unsure of the best approach to rescribing.
Arniec
I forgot to put these up here. As I have matted the wings to the engine pods. The next update will be after the Telford show. I am going to change this build into a earlier D version. I found this site by accident http://ameland.waddengebiedindeoorlog.nl/voor-de-oorlog/na-1938/ and there is a link to my country, witch I find very interesting. So I will go with this. jrlx
Looking very good, Arnold. Will you airbrush or brush paint the model? Airbrushing with all parts assembled can be a bit complicated... Cheers Jaime
pheonix
This is going together remarkably quickly. It looks very promising indeed and will be interesting in a different set of markings. p

Brandy
Coming along very nicely! I just noticed on Baron's build of this aircraft that the rear prop is wrong. Here's a copy of my post on his thread. Looking at this drawing it would appear that the engines are NOT handed. What this means is your rear prop is wrong. The props rotate clockwise as viewed from behind the engine (looking toward the prop) The leading edge of the prop is therefore on the right (downwards pointing) again, viewed from the engine side of the prop when the blade is at the one o'clock position. Since the front prop is a tractor, the leading edge is AWAY from the engine. The rear is a pusher, so the leading edge is TOWARD the engine. You'll need to cut the blades off the rear prop and and rotate them slightly! I think this pic proves that.....the leading edge is the straight one! Sorry to throw a spanner in the works! I hope that helps! Ian
Arniec
I have done some more work on here. The canopie is on and i have started painting. Here is the underside opainted in RLM 65 from Gunze. This was done yesterday and this morning I did the first top colour. I am using RLM70 and 71 from gunze with some blue paint in it. I don't know if it will show up on the pictures, but the color is slightly different than the original colors. I hope to do the second color (RLM 72) tomorrow. The masking already took some time, so tomorrow will be no different. Cheers,

Arniec
And the second color is on. Here are the pictures. I first started to mask the first topcolor. That wasn't easy, but got there in the end. and with the paint on. And finally with the masking removed.. I will be putting a Klear coat today, so I can put the decals on tomorrow. That is it for now Cheers,
