tc2324
Been working on the bomb drop and I`ve made a real balls up of it. The acrylic clear rods are too thick, (2mm), and easily seen and the drop sequence is completely wrong. At least this is a test build so lessons all learnt. Last photo`s before the final reveal and just need to add a little something to the base and then she`s ready.....
Corsairfoxfouruncle
Are you going to pose the intruder against a background ? If you are possibly very fine wire to mount the bombs, then paint the wire to match the background color ? Sort of invisible wire. busnproplinerfan
Nice to see a different colour on an A-6. I saw the movie in the theatre. I read someplace(don't quote me on it) about the making of the movie. The crashed A-6 was made from plywood and was six feet shorter to fit better on camera. Nice model.
rob Lyttle
Good first effort and I think the idea is sound! Looking forward to the final "Tah-Daah" 😃
Massimo
Hi, I prefer the old colours and the diorama with the crashed canopy and the chute jammed on the tail is really impressive, but even this last one 's a very Interesting build and the momento of those bombs just being dropped is great!!! This is the type of pose I prefer!!!It gives the model dynamism. I love it!!! Where did you get the clear rod? I'm loocking exactly for that sort of stuff for one of my Jags ! Is it rigid enough? Are there different diameters? ...well...if it holds an A6, it should hold a Jaguar!!! Ciao Massimo Edited November 12, 2017 by massimo2
