mostrich
Nice to see you doing a Würger again. I built the Egon Mayer markings of that kit, cause I liked the Höhenjäger intakes on the cowling. Mayer tested them against high altitude flying bombers and wasn't that impressed. Only three prototypes were deployed.

Reini78
the resin parts for the air intakes aren´t a perfect fit, some filling and sanding neccessary also added mini pieces of plastic sheet to bring the inserts to the same lenghts as the cowl DSC_0005 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr DSC_0006 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr DSC_0007 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr DSC_0008 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr

Reini78
realized that Hasegawa got the tulip wrong, there should be a "leaf" in the center of the upper cowl, to say between the two gun "rails" tried to remove the decals with masking tape but that didn´t work, so my dad sanded the decals off an repainted the cowl gonna use LifeLike Decals now, waiting for them to arrive DSC_0001 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr
Reini78
LifeLike decals arrived yesterday, tulip 2nd attempt first round done, the decals are a bit stiff and need some Micro Sol/Solvaset, but work fine DSC_0002 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr DSC_0003 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr

Duncan B
I did this one in 1/72 scale a few years ago, nearly drove me mad getting the tulip to look half decent. Duncan B p.s. please excuse my threadjacking
Reini78
red "leaves" done my dad won´t use LifeLike decals anymore, couldn´t convince him, as already mentioned they are stiff, tend to stick on the finger when you try to move them during applying, also small pieces broke out, so some repainting to do, for the rest of the markings mydad will ue the kit decals DSC_0003 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr DSC_0004 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr DSC_0005 by Reinhard Spreitzhofer, auf Flickr
Reini78
Repainted the leaves and sealed them. Due to my dad´s age related shaky hands he has to do now some yellow repainting.. The decals still haven´t snuggle down 100%, a problem with two part decals..
