New Star Wars trailer

OK, here's what I've spotted so far.....................

The AT-AT's supporting the AT-M6's have a very different look to them!  They've been heavily modded! Extra armour plating, new guns, beefed-up legs and sloped head. :yahoo:

The AT-ST's also have some modifications, but they are harder to work out. Easy to see is the new front face. Something? is going on at the back too but its too hard to tell for now. :hmmm:

All I can hope for at this stage is that Bandai bring out the AT-M6 and modded AT-AT in at least 1/144th scale, preferably 1/72 scale. :wicked:

Cheers

Richard.

The AT-M6 is coming out from Bandai but in their box scale series so not 1/144.  It looks like its half as tall again as an AT-AT so 1/144 might be on but 1/72 don't hold your breath.

Did you spot what happens to the Falcon's dish? I'd bet it's back to round in Episode 9 :)

(Unless JJ decides it should be hexagonal now, or some such....)

I'm starting to get my Star Wars vibe on now, and the Boy has watched all the films over the last few weekends, without any provocation from me, so I think he's also looking forward to it :)

I tend to stay away from such trailers - I want everything I see to be a surprise !

Really looking forward to the dvd release (I love the cinema but can’t stand everybody else there with their phones and their cracklely sweet packets and incessant talking!).

Most of what appeared in the Rogue One trailers never was in the movie- they just thought it looked cool.

I'd say a lot of what you saw was really due to how much the story changed up until release. The trailers had a lot of stuff you never saw, due to extensive reshooting and editing of the movie after they came out. The major changes to the ending were only part of the story of how much the film changed... some of the shots in the trailers were never even intended for the final cut. https://www.theverge.com/2017/1/15/14268850/star-wars-rogue-one-reshoots-disney-gareth-edwards-tony-gilroy
