Recommended Posts

Apologies if I've missed another report of this, but Paignton model shop was robbed of stock of trains over the weekend;

Wouldn't it be clearer if you spelled Paignton correctly in the topic title :P

It probably would have been clearer, but you seem to have got the idea OK!  I just hope they catch the cheeky toe rag quickly.

Just a case of predictive text I think, so I have changed it.

Looking at the image on the report I reckon he won't be that hard to track down as, for once, the face is quite easy to discern.

Sounds like only one man could pull off this caper, in this fashion.

Just seen the picture, it reminded me of when my garden wildlife camera picks up a rat. I always shoot rats.

You're quite right, thanks for changing it.

Is changing the title of a thread something only mods can do, because I had a look to see if I could.

It can be changed if you are using a computer, not sure about editing with a phone though.

I must express my anger over this robbery. Let's hope that they track the crafty buffer down. He is obviously not on the level and perhaps it won't be long before he is crossing paths with the old Bill. Jail time would be just the ticket while a non-custodial sentence would be a miscarriage of justice that I would have no truck with. It would send out the wrong signal and be enough to make a teetotal man fall off the wagon.

'Off the rails' beat me to it! Really it should be called 'The Little Train Robbery. He's obviously from the wrong side of the tracks. I suspect he'll be caught soon and that will be the end of line for him. His life of crime will hit the buffers. He'll soon find his life is a train wreck as he finds himself down at the station where he'll be fast tracked to prison. I just hope he'll be a model prisoner. :swear:

But joking aside it's a mean thing to do to a small model shop from someone who quite clearly is model train enthusiast. I don't think he thought it would be featured in a national daily. Hopefully the goods will be recovered.

I see what you did there. In fact it's clearly signalled.

Julien,

Thanks for that, sadly it doesn't work on quality kindle.
