replicant
This resine kit is the least worse under the worst. But, per aspera ad astra, i love this plane. William Holden in the movie Towards the Unknown lovingly touched her skin at Edwards AFB, happy guy... 44

72modeler
Replicant, Either the Planet X-3 is a very good kit, or you are one heckuva model-builder! Wow is all I can say! Mike

replicant
Yes Eric! When the Clark tractor pushed her, she got wrinkles, because that was maximum thrust.... 6

Sadly it got nowhere near that in flight! Fine model and love that scenery: like a Mike Machat painting.
Meatbox8
An absolutely stunning model of an extraordinary aircraft. A beautiful finish and some superb photography. You've got that Majove Desert lighting and backdrop down perfectly. Although it failed dismally in its intended role I believe Lockheed used much data concerning its trapezoidal wing for the F-104.

replicant
Thank you mates! I am glad you enjoy it! The guys at Douglas matched the silhouettes of Stiletto and Starfighter and said, they should get money for that from Lockheed!!!
