Winenut
Brilliant! How on earth did you get those figures painted so life like in 1/72?????? Mine always end up looking like non-descript blobs!
TonyW
First Class build, one of those models that keep you looking for ages. The crew are a brilliant bit of detailing. Tony.

pizzapaolo
Amazing! I had one shipped from Japan but it cost so much I think I might just occasionally give it a cuddle before returning it carefully to the stash for a few years until that day comes when I have enough skill and/or courage to take it on. Maybe one day....

stevehnz
Very nice indeed. A serial RFI, a bit different but worth continuing to the end. The crew is superb. Steve.

replicant
Thank you all! For all interested: At Nuremberg Toy Fair, President Masato Hasegawa got the award Model of the Year for Emily from german ModellFan magazine and will bring the excellent figures designed by Modelkasten as separate kit. Thats fine! Cheers, Thomas

Kampartiger
Back in the early 1970s,I bought the Frog's Emily and went head over heels with it.It was the biggest airplane model i have in my possession ( other than an Aurora Starlifter ).The problem then was where to store it and if I buy one today,I guess the problem will be the same.Anyway, your two Emilys' are superb and just perfect to my eyes.(btw,my Emily is still languishing in the swamp behind my old house somewhere in North Borneo)
planecrazee
Wow - that is absolutely fantastic. I have a real penchant for flying boats and this is no exception. You've captured this perfectly including the crew and the weathering. Well done - an absolute masterclass in modelling!! Kris
