Bill Bunting
Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I did not use a mask set. I masked with Tamiya tape, a sharp scalpel (not an Xacto) and good lighting. I actually enjoy it! But I can appreciate a pre-cut set would be easier and quicker as it took around two hours to apply and cut mine. Thanks again. tonyot
Wow Bill,......that is brilliant and I didn`t even realise that they were used over the desert either,......so I`ve learnt something too!! Or do the yellow theatre bands mean that it was on the Eastern Front? Cheers Tony Edited October 3, 2017 by tonyot

A quick search the web shows a few B&W pics of this a/c in Finland but they don't look like this scheme???? Oddly though, there have been three model kits released by three different manufacturers (this ICM, a Revell 1/72 and an HPH 1/32) that all provide this aircraft in this scheme. I think I'll leave the debate if this is a valid scheme or not to others with more knowledge and resources than I. Cheers for now!

Bill it is a beauty and take no notice of my ramblings,......my knowledge of this type can be written on the back of a postage stamp,..... my knowledge of Luftwaffe colour schemes is even less,...hence my query!!
