Pottyscotty
First off I'd like to apologise if this is in the wrong section, couldn't find a better place to put it. I was wondering if anyone knew the difference between the two Airfix 1/48 Meteor kits? Only things I can see is the different decal and armament selection, and if that's all it is I'd wonder why separate kits were produced. https://www.airfix.com/uk-en/gloster-meteor-f8-1-48.html https://www.airfix.com/uk-en/gloster-meteor-f8-korean-war-1-48.html
Simon Cornes
I think that you basically have it in one. Its just an excuse for Airfix to reboot the same kit with different markings. And it seems like you get rockets with the Korean kit so I assume there is an extra sprue?

NAVY870
It has the underwing rockets and the revised glare shield over the instrument panel with the ARN 6 radio compass indicator - specific to the RAAF aircraft only. There may be revised cockpit sidewalls as RAAF aircraft were changed around a bit to get the ARN 6 controller to fit but as I have yet to see the kit I cant be sure. Our Meteor A77-868 was used as reference in this kit. Edited September 26, 2017 by NAVY870 Rooly bad spelling n gramma
k5054nz
That's really cool Steve! Although I guess that makes it tricky for weird folk like me wanting to build Temora's example?
