Lightningboy2000
Just A-10's then. One wouldn't do it to a new Spitfire then?

bentwaters81tfw
Almost. It's minus gun and engines. If you stand on the tailplane, it will rock!

bentwaters81tfw
I asked if we were going to pre-shade it. We decided on getting a water bomber to fly over loaded with some Flory wash. 1

Send your CV to Duxford and Brooklands, send those photos too ! http://www.bcwm.org.uk/  We have 5 more airframes under restoration, and the Harrier needs a repaint. That's before we look at levering some airframes out of deep store at various locations.

Kicking myself now ! Wouldn't mind giving a hand over there sometime.
bentwaters81tfw
We would be pleased to see you. There are two more public days this year, plus an airfield walk, all in October, plus meeting evenings on the second thursday of each month. bar side
Extremely nice. Â Just building a 1/48 version WR tail code A-10 & trying to use your pic for colour references. Â Must come & see her for real. Â Even stayed at a campsite in Woodbridge & didn't make it over to the museum.
FIGHTS ON
needs some bombs & rockets - I Can't see the security services having an issue with that?.......
bentwaters81tfw
NMUSAF will not permit us to hang stuff off the airframe. There are terms and conditions of loan, which has to be renewed annually. In reality it should be 'stuffed and mounted'. Best we can do is display inert ordnance on a weapons trolley.
