John_W
I was a little wary of NMF, especially seeing some of the outstanding finishes by other Britmodellers. The Metalcote has come out pretty well. Looking at reference pictures, this aircraft has a very thin blue (?) Headline between the white and the metal. Far too fine to mask so I may leave it unless I can source some decals. Now having a look at photos to work out the ariel fit for this aircraft. Thanks for all the positive comments. Haven't finished a GB for ages.
John_W
Started on the decals. A little thick, but also poor density on the white, so there is a distinct line where the white top ends. Of course they had to be over the door hinges, so liberally doused in Microsols finest. John_W
Most of the decals on. Some of the stencils are tiny. They are also misnumbered and don't match the instructions. Aerials on (need touching up) props and wheels on for photos.
CliffB
This is going to look stunning when the window masks come off. Cliff

Romeo Alpha Yankee
That is looking rather smart John, I don't mind the silver/white schemes on the old Dak.

John_W
Almost there. Need to put decals on the props, and my jar of gloss white has gone off colour, need a new one to paint the aerials.
