Tail-Dragon
Here is my Dragon 1/35 Porsche type 205/2 "Maus". - Added Eduard photoetch grills, fuel tank bracket and straps, ladder etc. - Added wiring for headlights, plumbing for external fuel tank - Paint scheme from photographs of prototype - Added welding detail on hull top/side skirt joints - Added tow lugs on rear hull - Painted with Tamiya acrylics, weathered with pastels and oils Hope you like, Colin Here's an interesting size comparison, both 1/35 ... The Maus turret is actually larger than the Stuart! Cheers, Colin Edited September 13, 2017 by Tail-Dragon

Badder
Great to see this beast. Thanks. Of course, the Maus might have been a formidable opponent if it hadn't been for the extremely slow speed of the SdKfz 9921 ausf Z (240 Tonne Reinforced-Road-Laying Vehicle) that was designed to trundle along in front of it. And I wonder why they didn't camo paint the Maus to look like a farm building, or a small copse? Rearguards, Badder

Blaubar
Such a lunatic tank. The size comparison is simply stunning. I like Badders building paint job idea😂👍🏻
Gorby
Very nice build, but it would be good to show at least one figure to show what a monster it was. The other tank gives an idea, but to us non-tanky types, it would mean more to scale with a human.

BerndM
Nice Porsche, you nailed the camo. Your Stuart is great as well.
BlackMax12
Looking good Colin. The Germans were sure obsessed with size, practical or not. Hope you folks in Winterpeg don't get that mess we got here yesterday. They just opened #1 to Calgary around noon. Lloyd
Kris B
Huge beast. Good paint job, I like the effect of the camo stripes you achieved.

Imagine trying to give a target indication or fire control order on that! ‘Reference moving farm!’ 😂😂😂 Great build and paint by the way 👍🏿
