Intriguing! I had to look up both of those.  They look like fine subjects & doubtless you'll make your usual good job of them!

Which would be no bad thing in this Martian's opinion!

Incidentally Pat, how is you own mini vacform revival coming along?

Martian, looming like a giant alien looming thing.

I am not starting yet (having two other models to finish first) but let see what is in the bags:

1. Ripon

rip DSC06509rip DSC06510rip DSC06511rip DSC06512

I have a spare Aeroclub Bristol engine as well as exhaust colector ring and inlets ring from SH Vildebeest. For consideration:

rip DSC06513

Hoover:

hov DSC06516hov DSC06515hov DSC06517hov DSC06518

Please note that from some unknown reasons I have bonus in form of doubed injection parts set. So I can do also Ripon with Armstrong Panther engine. This is for consideration...

Besides a lot of material from Net I ahve this book with some inetersting and good quality photos of both machines

rip DSC06514

Cheers

Hi J-W,

Welcome to the GB! Indeed another two vacforms joining the party! You're a really brave BMer, I'd never a vacform kit with a 1 meter long stick :)

Anyway, you've chosen two interesting aircraft and I look forward to seeing them taking shape! Good luck!

Cheers

Jaime

Both look like interesting and challenging subjects. Love the look of the Ripon!

So, you're a vacform specialist?

I do not think so. I would be after doing some 50-70.... This is still phase of gathering experience. This year I made my first vacu biplane (Polikarpov R5 by MPM). Those will be first biplanes on floats - I expect new and special kind of construction problems.

That's the spirit Jerzy, always maintain a positive outlook...... :raincloud:

Lets hope, they are made so well they almost fall together instead

I have complete confidence in you..... so no pressure then !  ;)

cheers Pat

Two very interesting types there: I knew of the Ripon but the Hover is completely new to me. Will be following both with interest.

Great film Jerzy, the fuselage looks really deep in the film, I wonder why they designed it that way ?
