I'm not a fan of chrome, and judging by the pics I've seen online (hard to research pics of the actual car without stumbling on pics of the model) the chrome wheels look like aluminium. So first step of the build is a Dettol soak for the wheels and wing-mirror glass. I also have 3 sets of these Tamiya rally car drivers and co-drivers in my stash, so I'm going to be putting a driver in this car - try as I might, I just can't find a picture of what the real drivers of this car would be wearing, but I'll do my best to make it look legit.
