Red Dot
hi all, Just a few from the Friday arrivals. We got there at 10.00 and left at 13.30. To be honest, this was the only good stuff, but the Swedes were well worth it! cheers Andy Edited September 10, 2017 by Red Dot 18
PLC1966
Would have been worth it for the Swedes alone.

FZ6
I would have like to see these fly at the show. Great shots, thanks for sharing! Mark
Red Dot
thanks for the comments guys. It was worth it for the Swedes but as for the rest............... In terms of value for money, the arrivals day was good; lots of space, nice background for photos, easy parking, good food. The downside was there was virtually nothing of interest landing, no demo flights when we were there and poor signposts to the entrance as the post code on the ticket was for the showground. If that was the quality of participant, then it certainly was way over-priced for the main event at £39 Andy
Pete in Lincs
A work colleague went to the Saturday show. I don't think he was that impressed but had a good day nonetheless. (BTW, Andy, Whetstone? I grew up in Wigston)

Darth Vader
It's not up to the standard of the Mildenhall air fetes of the 80s that's for sure. Good job the swedes turned up cause nearly £40 to see some jet provosts . . .

Red Dot
hi guys, The Lansen was very special indeed and would be a challenge to model as it was so faded Andy
modelling minion
Nice piccies Andy. It certainly looks like a good job the Swedes turned up! It helps that they are fantastic aircraft too, pity we can't do something similar in this country.
F-32
Cracking shots! I don't get why they invited the Swedes and then didn't let them display, seems like a missed opportunity - the Viggen display at Waddington a few years ago was immense! Red Dot
Thanks very much. Maybe it is something to do with current display licenses in the UK, but i agree, it would have been a bigger attraction, at least to enthusiasts Andy
