dcrfan
I have only just found this topic and it will become a must watch as I have two of these kits out in the garage ready to become Med boats along with most of the same reference books. In the Med it was common for the boat crews to wear Army battle dress as they couldn't get access to replacement Navy uniforms. Are you aware of the great info source http://cfv.org.uk There is lots of info on Med boats in the Forum
Martian
I think this has the potential to be a major prize winning model. Now you're confused aren't you? Martian

longshanks
Wardroom nearing completion..... Pipe cot. This by day served as the back of the bench seat, by night it swung up and was supported to form a second bunk. Showing half up/down (Not secured) A bit more homely with books and posters. Heads door added, secured back against shack and cut away. The furniture below posters is a fold down table The Posters were Googled and printed to suit The shack is still visible through the hull. In the foreground against the side skin, blankets & pillow stored behind the bench back. Thanks for looking in Kev

JohnWS
This was one of the first threads I read before joining Britmodeller. Very impressive! Great work Kev. You're setting a high standard for scratch building.

longshanks
Things not been going well .... I've got the plans why can't I follow them ? Nagging ache that things weren't looking right. Not suprising when I realised that I had the frame spacing wrong and had started from the wrong datum point You get the idea, so ripped it out and made a start on the correct framing Which of course means all this is wrong Which does prove a point, my teachers were right .... Don't you just love modelling? Kev 4 3
