Very happy today,picked up an Airfix Vulcan for £3.50 at a charity shop in harpenden.😊

It's not an early one,it's a humbrol issue,the plastic is ok,no flash,the only thing wrong is a slightly damaged decal sheet,but is no problem.and recently I gave my local charity shop several hundred aviation/modelling magazines dating from the 60's to now,so I will call it evens 😊

Saw an Airfix Bismarck and HMS Ajax in a charity shop. They wanted almost full price, and the boxes were in a dreadful state. No way of knowing if they were complete without a full part check. Someone bought them within 15 minutes. I wouldn't touch them.

Be careful, there are modellers out there - you run the risk of starting a very long thread about what, exactly, is the right colour for the bridge.

The Forth Bridge (Rail) in Red Lead, . Painting it will be the longest WIP in BM history..good luck counting the rivets.
