Trumpeter Challenger 2 (desert)

Recommended Posts

CR2's used a stone based camo in the gulf. If you google image search Bovington Tank Museum Challenger 1 that should bring up pictures of the preserved in running condition example of the then Major Denero Chally which is a close match to Gulf CR2's Hope this helps.

Thanks very much. I have some Humbrol acrylic no 93, which according to humbrol is matt desert yellow. I have done a test colour with this, and I would say that it is the correct colour, so just going to use this. I do intend getting the Tamiya Challenger 2 model, as I am not overly impressed with Trumpeter, although I have been told that the trumpeter Challenger 2 was an early model and apparently trumpeter are much better now.
