That's a super looking G14, the paint work and weathering is spot on. I've recently finished the Revell G6 which I really enjoyed apart from the undercarriage which is pretty fragile. Many congratulations on a superb 109.

Agreed, the undercarriage is really weak. That's the worst part of the kit in my opinion. I actually broke one leg in half where the oleo is. Was not fun to fix, but It's holding.

This isn't a comment about your model but a critic to Revell.

A kit that needs so much resin  parts to improve its deficiences is a BAD kit in my book!

That's why I'll avoid their line of 1:32 109s.

Cheers, Josip

Very good point. However, I still think there is some merit to the Revell kit. The main thing going for it is price as you can get them for a good deal. Out of the box, I don't think they look too bad. Adding the resin did add cost, but I enjoyed using all the barracuda parts, nothing but nice things to say. The barracuda parts bring a lot of value and look good.

Now, having said all of that, I will buy Hasegawa 1/32 109s from now on (minus the revell 109G-10 already in the stash). I built the 109F-4 from Hase and thought it was a pretty solid kit. I'll still be tempted to add some of the barracuda parts though. ;) That's all my humble opinion. :)

Very nice rendition of that classic airplane.

Interesting markings as well, did this belong to an Operational Training Unit?

These are usually seen with (high) 2-digit numbers.

Greetings from Vienna
