ReccePhreak
In the instructions for WNW's 1/32 Roland C.II, they show 2 "Optional Accessories", namely the FK Stab camera and the 25cm hand-held camera. The hand held camera is self explanatory, but the instructions do not show where the FK Stab camera was mounted, or if there are any mounting parts. Anybody have any answers to this problem? jckspratt1
I can't access any resources at the moment, but from memory the FK shoots through a window in the floor (perhaps being mounted on the port side facing down).
72modeler
RF, Not my area of expertise, (Some would say I have none!) but found this link to a kit review that shows the mounting- have no idea if this is accurate or not, but if you or someone else has the Datafile #49 used as a CII reference, it might have a photo or drawing. Good luck- I think the CII is one of the better-looking WW1 observation types! I think I also saw some sites that offered downloads of many of the Windsock Datafiles, so you might try that avenue. tango98
Hi Larry, There were two openings in the lower fuselage approximating the rear undercarriage strut mounting shohwing IIRC, one to port and one near the centre line. The FK was a pretty large piece of kit so I don't know how often it was carried as most of my Roland stuff shows only the hand held being used. Anyway, if you'd care to email me at: [email protected] I'll send you some scans later this morning. Cheers Dave

I have the Windsock Datafile, and there wasn't any info in it on the camera mount(s).
