1/48 Eduard Bf109E-3 JG53, November 1939

Hello all,

 

May I present my better late than never entry for the recently completed Bf109 STGB. I ran over time so it isn't eligible for judging:

 

 

 

 

 

It was a build of firsts for me, first wheels up in years, first pilot figure in 1/48 and first motorised build ever. It is not without its faults but I am happy to place it in the front half of the cabinet. If you wish to follow the build it is here.

Very nice indeed.  A beautifully applied paint finish.  I like these early Luftwaffe schemes.

Incredible 109   ! I've been thinking of doing this very 109 in the near future. I may still do it. I doubt i could get as good a result as yours. Again i say incredible

REALLY like the early splinter and can only imagine how tricky it was to get it looking that good! Have to say, I'm with Spitfire31...I want to see MORE!!
