exdraken
A D model Hind! Great choice of scheme Good luck with the build! Not the easiest one for sure, but impressive results are possible! Are you going to improve the model somehow?

Not the easiest one for sure, but impressive results are possible! Are you going to improve the model somehow? My dad isn´t really a chopper fan, but now he sad to me that he wants to build one, so I gave him the Hind, IMO still the meanest, coolest looking attack helicopter :-) Because usually the D Hinds have the sand -brown or sand-green camo I looked for something different and exotic and found it in the Cuban version. Planning to do a MiG in that camo too someday. It´s a pity that the Revell-Monogram kit is still the only one of this iconic helicopter in 1/48. Most probably won´t do any improvements like you but we will see..

exdraken
nice start! it always astonishes me how much usually empty volume the Hind carries around having quite a slim fuselage! if you do not find the obvious resin cockpit, also Pavla makes one that is not all bad!
