Rolls Royce Armoured Cars detail sets?

Hello,

 

I'm thinking of getting one of Roden's 1/35 British Rolls Royce Armoured Cars (1914 or 1920 Pattern) and wondered if there are upgrade/detail sets that would enhance these kits?

Enhance them?   Why they're perfect.  OK they aren't.  I have five of all three versions in various stages of assembly.  I'm actually just assembling one as a bare chassis to feature in a class of drivers being instructed.

 

They definitely could do with a better MG.  Not much out there I'm aware of.

Thanks. I did read a review (Armarama?) where the mg was considered  deficient. I've not seen a kit in the flesh so haven't been able to see how good they are.

Might be worth checking out Gaspatch for some exquisite MGs. They do a variety of scales aimed primarily at aircraft modellers but the products are really nice. They don't do a .303 Vickers in 1/35 but offer several in 1/32

I've seen a Black Dog set on its website which looked like it includes an MG along with its usual load of stowage. Probably only worth buying if you would use at least some of the other bits, of course.
