falcon
Finished another model today. This is the Trumpeter 1/72 Westland Wyvern S.4. I began building this model about 6 years ago, then it got sidelined and spent a huge amount of time on the 'pending' pile. I finally summoned up the courage to get her completed.
Learstang
I don't know if beautiful is the correct adjective to describe the Wyvern, but brilliant job! To be honest, the Wyvern's always been a favourite of mine. Regards, Jason
Darby
You need to sum up courage to build that; it's a lovely kit (IMO) and a great finish.

falcon
Cheers mate. I started a Trumpeter 1/72 Gannet this morning. There are a number of projects on the 'shelf of doom' including a 1/72 Revell Victor and Italeri Jaguar and a 1/48 Gnat and Canberra.

Gazontipede
Another super Wyvern. It really has a pugnacious look that few other aircraft can successfully emulate. Even Flook there doesn't really detract from the raw aggressiveness of the Wyvern. I've got one of these in the stash but I keep balking at doing it. I think I'm in the same boat that you were in except I'm too chicken to even start mine!
ArmouredSprue
Looks very good. I have one in my stash. How was to build it? Very hard? Any fitting issues? Any particular area to look for trouble? Cheers
Horatio Gruntfuttock
A lovely job, its always hard to get stuck into a stalled project but you have done her proud, even if only her mum would love her!

Still not sure why I left it on the shelf of doom for so long.
