twinpin
Academy 1/72nd scale F89J Scorpion built out of the box and brush painted The main colour is Model Master Air Defence Grey FS16473 The other decal option in the box is for a North Dakota ANG aircraft in natural metal with red Arctic markings Only problem with the kit was that the decals were heavy and not very flexible. Meatbox8
That looks great. Nice finish and colour scheme. I think it's fair to say the Scorpion isn't a 'beautiful' aeroplane but it certainly has a purposeful look about it. It also looks huge compared to an NF Meteor or even a CF-100 Edited August 23, 2017 by Meatbox8
Eric Mc
Looks good. Americas' answer to the Javelin . I bet it's bigger than you thought it would be.
Corsairfoxfouruncle
Great Scorpion 👍... You know what they say guys ...the uglier the plane, the better it works. Edited August 23, 2017 by Corsairfoxfouruncle
Thud4444
I had a patient who used to fly them, he said they where a beast to get off the ground. And that they where unbelievably sluggish in the air, but he loved them. Outside of the 106 it was his favorite plane. I've always thought they looked evil. Great model. Convair
Nice Scorpion, different from the everyday NMF. I intend to make a gray F-89, too. Inspirational! Edited September 13, 2017 by Convair
