the 'spitfire' above is a replica,  and not a very accurately finished example for a 609 Sq plane (the code letters are very unlike any I've seen for 609)

plus it has six pipe exhausts and cannon blisters.....

so, are you wanting to make a model of the replica, or a model of what the replica is trying to portray?

Also, what scale?

 

If you are not really goping to deal with complexities of RAF squadron codes (in short, they vary a lot ) xtradecal do shhets of generic RAF codes,.

I hope that yours is a different PR-E,......for this one has a different camouflage pattern, the fuselage roundel has a small centre,....also note the small upper wing roundels with the anti gas patch and check out the scuff marks on the wing root!
