I'd leave it alone now.  The white looks ok to me and the scuffing is just right.

 

I think I am quite happy with it too.

You can apply bit of white oil wash all over the model. That should nicely blend the grey and white together.

Then use a dark gray for a pin wash. The oil color "Payne's Gray" would be perfect for this. It's a dark gray/blue. It will convey a sense of cold.
