vindicareassassin
I'm currently building a 1/72 scale dio of an Royal Engineers Laager somewhere in NW Europe. It features my own cast Fordson WOT6 Type X engineers truck, my converted Airfix Bedford QLC Type B engineers truck and a converted Airfix Bedford MW to late type water carrier, plus other scratch built accessories. Here are some in progress pics up to the point it currently is at.... Sadly I forgot to take WIP shots of the 2 engineers electrical repair trailers that now reside on it... DAG058
This looks like real Engineering, them Royal Engineer Wedgeheads would never be trusted with that. You sure it's not a REME laager?
longshanks
Great work...... Kev

You sure it's not a REME laager? Weirdly one of my mates is ex REME and has said they would never be allowed to play with anything so technical, am I sure its not RAF!? Murdo
That is fantastic! And 1/72 too? What a great pity you didn't do a WIP on the trailers, they look excellent!

Fear not, I've just been asked to do them as a master plus a couple of other types, so I'll do a WIP then

No mate, I don't really follow the PE thing as its to thin for the kind of other stuff I do, which is make masters for casting so needs to be a certain thickness to do that, I'll look them up and see if they can offer an easier solution to me scratch building them
Blaubar
Wow, super detailing on this scale. Love the modifications and the effort you put in here. This is an excellent diorama you mastered there so far.

Several of the tools come with extra bits to give them a little depth. http://web.ipmsusa3.org/content/afv-tools
